Halogen-Free & Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) Cable Ties

LSZH cable ties emit no halogen gases, minimal smoke, and low toxicity when exposed to fire. Certified to IEC 60754, IEC 61034, and EN 45545-2 for safety-critical installations.

What LSZH Means
Low Smoke Zero Halogen materials contain no fluorine, chlorine, bromine, or iodine. When burned, they produce very low smoke density and no corrosive or toxic halogen acid gases — critical for enclosed spaces.
Where LSZH Is Required
Mandatory in: railway vehicles (EN 45545-2), shipbuilding (IMO FTP Code), tunnels, underground stations, data centers, hospitals, and military applications. Also specified in many green building standards.
Test Standards
IEC 60754-1: Halogen acid gas emission. IEC 60754-2: Corrosivity of combustion gases. IEC 61034: Smoke density measurement. EN 45545-2: Fire performance for railway.

FAQ

Do LSZH ties have the same strength as standard nylon?

LSZH ties have approximately 85-90% of standard PA66 tensile strength. For applications requiring full strength plus LSZH, we offer reinforced LSZH variants.

What colors are available in LSZH?

Standard: black (carbon black filled). Custom: gray, white, blue. Minimum order quantities apply for non-black colors (typically 50,000 pcs).

Can you provide IEC 60754 and IEC 61034 test reports?

Yes. Full test reports from accredited labs are provided with every order. We test annually and batch-test for railway and marine projects.
