Cable ties organize, secure or identify an assembly. The correct product depends on the bundle, support, environment, installation method and required evidence.

Bundling and routing
Use a tie to group wires, hoses or small components when the loop, head, clearance and installation method suit the assembly. Keep the tie loose enough for the intended route and follow the installation requirement for the selected product.
Mounting and fixing
Push-mount, screw-mount, marker and double-loop designs solve different installation problems. Confirm panel geometry, support, bundle movement and service access before selecting a subtype.
Identification and color coding
A marker area, label or controlled color can keep an identifier with the bundle. Color alone is not proof of material, UV, flame or compliance performance.
Environment and material
Describe sunlight, moisture, temperature, chemicals, vibration, abrasion and service interval. Ask for material, dimensions, test basis and document scope for the exact SKU.
Installation and inspection
Review the sample on the real assembly, check locking action and tail finish, and record the model, revision, packaging and acceptance fields for repeat orders.
Request the right supply
Send the application, bundle range, quantity, packaging, destination and required documents to the supplier. A documented RFQ is more useful than a generic request for “cable ties.”
